Grow Featured in Chicago Home and Garden

One of our favorite eco-friendly furniture lines has been featured in a great article by Home and Garden. The spread is all about creating a great space for your little one, a space that will grow with your child, and mixing and matching. This article will be featured tomorrow with the Nursery set up on The WGN Midday show from (11am-12pm) locally on channel 9. The segment will also be airing on the  WGN website.







The Roh Crib, by Spot on Square, is featured in the article and is also a Grow favorite. Made here it the USA ( Midwest to be exact). Made of solid natural walnut, and it's most talked about feature; 100% recyclable clear acrylic that is BPA and Phthalate free. This design savvy crib is not only a piece of art, but one that will last. The crib also has a toddler conversion available.

We are so thrilled to announce the launch of our new design services at Grow. With access to the top eco-friendly and organic products, Grow carries only the best products in each category to narrow your options and ease the potential chaotic-ness of trying to plan a healthy space.

You can come into Grow for a consultation or set up an in-home consultation to help plan your Nursery, Child's room or playroom. We have at least one piece of furniture from each of our vendors to help display their quality and finish in the store. We also have access to many more products, from bedding, to lighting to paint colors. Also available are wood swatches and catalogs, so please stop by or email us with any questions!

Grow is very excited to be partnering with SMRT, the hands on education tools needed to help today's busy parents organize and prepare for one of life's greatest and most chaotic gifts, babies! We will be hosting the SMRT classes at Grow every Thursday from 7:30-9pm starting January 20-February 24.

This six-week course is designed to help new and expecting parents connect with local experts and receive great tips on raising children and being the best parent you can be.

Two Mom Extraordinaires, Hope Firsel and Robyn Miller Brecker, have come together to combine their knowledge plus years of dedication and experience with life coaching to help people in all areas fulfill their life goals.  After becoming a mom, Hope and Robyn have decided to gear their effort towards helping new and expecting parents simplify and organize their lives, enabling them to have the most time to spend on what is important.

We are so excited to be carrying the Eco-Friendly and Non-toxic furniture line Ducduc based in New York City. They are known for their amazing style, versatile options and functional furniture. Their furniture is made in the United States in their own renovated and restored factory, a reclaimed brownfield site in Connecticut. Recycle Your Christmas Tree!

Turn your Christmas tree into mulch for gardeners!

From Jan 1-17, trees can be dropped off inside of the tree corrals set up at 23 locations.  Here are a few:

Grant Park , 900 S. Columbus
Humboldt Park Boathouse, 1369 N. Sacramento
Lincoln Park, Parking lot east of Cannon Dr. at Fullerton Ave.
Sheridan Park, 910 S. Aberdeen St.

Please remove all decorations including lights, ornaments and tinsel.
